Version The measured Q2 evolution of F2 at medium x.
PhysRep The original figure.
05/10/00 The preliminary L3 numbers were replaced by the final L3 result from CERN-EP/2000-044.
06/11/01 The preliminary DELPHI measurements from TabD12 have been replaced by the recent preliminary numbers presented by I. Tiapkin at the PHOTON2001 conference. In addition, the preliminary OPAL measurement at Q2 = 706 GeV2 has been replaced by the recent preliminary numbers at Q2 = 767 GeV2 from the OPAL Physics Note 489. The horizontal axis of the plot has been changed as well.
07/07/02 The OPAL measurements have been replaced by the published numbers from CERN-EP-2002-014, where appropriate.
04/04/03 The preliminary numbers from ALEPH have been added. The results are for Q2 = 17.3 GeV2 and Q2 = 67.2 GeV2 as presented by F.Hess at the PHOTON2003 conference in Frascati.
09/07/03

The ALEPH results at Q2 = 17.3 and 67.2 GeV2 are now taken from the publication. CERN-EP-2003-033. Compared to the latest version if this figure they are essentially unchanged.

The old preliminary DELPHI measurements have been removed. New DELPHI results are included. They are taken from CERN-EP-2003-018 abailable from the Delphi Publication page. Only the numbers obtained using LEP1 data and quoted at Q2 = 5.2, 12.7 and 28.5 GeV2 have been incuded. The results obtained using LEP2 data are not included. This is because the most significant error, stemming from the model dependence when using different MC models to obtain the structure function are not included in the quoted result. If so, then in many cases they would dominate the error, and therefore I refrained from adding this error myself.

In addition, to better identify the version of the plot, the date of production has been added.

28/04/09

The ALEPH results from CERN-EP-2003-033 at Q2 = 17.3 and 67.2 GeV2 have been replaced by the identical published numbers from Eur.Phys.J. C30, 145-158 (2003).

For L3 the measurement from Phys. Lett. B483 (2000) 373-386 for the range 0.3 < x < 0.8 has been replaced by the numbers for the range 0.1 < x < 0.6 from the same paper. In addition, the results from Phys. Lett. B622 249-264 (2005) for the range 0.1 < x < 0.5 have been added.

All preliminary DELPHI and the old TPC/2g measurements have been removed.
