Hi Ron,

   At the Victoria LCWS, Gabe will present an update on our work in
Victoria. Since Paris, the highlights are:

1. Modified our TPC to allow UV laser to enter through side.
2. Tested with UV laser - good tracks seen.
3. Preparing laser delivery system for remote control of split beam in DESY
magnet.
4. New readout boards and additional test cell made for micromegas tests.
5. New scheme to mount carbon loaded kapton onto readout board applied - for
charge dispersion method with micromegas.

6. STAR DAQ system sped up to 2-3 Hz.
7. We hope to test GEM and micromegas in DESY magnet with cosmics and UV
laser tracks.
